Rishi Shipping installs India’s first neem oil coating plant for imported urea
Inauguration on Sept. 26 at Kandla Port

The Kandla-based Rishi Shipping has installed the country’s first neem oil coating plant for imported urea at Kandla Port, a maiden such venture at any port in the country, the B. K. Mansukhani-owned company said.

The facility will be inaugurated by Mr Ravi Parmar, IAS, Chairman of Kandla Port Trust (KPT), on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 1 pm, at Kandla Port Warehouse No. 34, in the presence of Mr Alok Singh, IRS, Deputy Chairman of KPT, and other dignitaries.

It may be recalled that the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, had announced in his Independence Day speech that farmers would be given neem oil coated imported urea for improving the effectiveness of fertilisers and enhancing yield.
