LogYcode strengthens its foothold in logistics sector

SA Group Vice-Chairman, Mr Ashish Asaf, has attained the position as the new Chairman of the Delhi/NCR-based digital logistics and e-commerce start-up LogYcode Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. He shall also retain his existing capacity as the Vice-Chairman of SA Group.

LogYcode played a pivotal role in developing the ERP for SA Group by fully digitising the in-house operations of the Indian neutral co-loader and freight forwarding giant. The development had started in early 2018 and the internal ERP systems were in place by mid-2018. The online platform was in use by the external customers of SA Group soon after, and as on date, more than 1,200 users are experiencing digital logistics services. The automation turned out to be a revelation for the company by reducing turnaround time and improvising cost-efficiency phenomenally. Also, the digital platform became the Unique Selling Proposition of the company, letting it stand out among the sheer competition in the market not just in India but in the global arena as well.

This most recent transition will not change the strategies of either of the companies and both will be focused on their core competencies. Along with the founder and CEO of LogYcode, Dr Ambrish Kumar, and co-founder Mr Vikas Kharbanda, Mr Ashish Asaf’s (Chairman and Co-founder) experience and fame in the freight forwarding fraternity has strengthened the leadership of LogYcode. Reiterating the importance of the need of the hour and commenting on the transition, Mr Ashish Asaf said, “LogYcode brought in benefits of digital logistics services for the end customers and the internal ERP system of SA Group, thereby enhancing efficiency and aligning with the values of the organisation.”

Mr Asaf invested in LogYcode rather than using the start-up as a vendor. The idea is to grow together in the vast and prospective ecosystem of digital logistics, thereby helping shape the growth and direction of the organisation. The synergies of the two companies combined and reciprocated each other—SA Group seeking to enhance its position in the dynamic logistics fraternity, and LogYcode seeking to nurture and integrate the sector for a seamless logistics experience to the fraternity and stakeholders, emphasised a release.
