APSEZ eyes projects in the Philippines

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ Ltd.) is now eyeing to expand its operations in the Philippines, it was disclosed by Mr Karan Adani, APSEZ Ltd Managing Director, at his recent courtesy call with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in Malacañang. During the discussion, Mr Adani emphasised the private sector’s commitment to building lasting partnerships and playing a crucial role in developing strong transportation networks, said Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM). It said APSEZ is considering investing in the country’s transport, logistics and renewable energy sector.  Mr Marcos said the government is pursuing such partnerships to elevate transportation options in the country. APSEZ is India’s top commercial port operator and is responsible for managing close to a quarter of the nation’s cargo movement, said a report.
