VOC Port and J M Baxi Group discuss key issues

V. O. Chidambaranar Port (VOC Port) intimated in a communique that Mr Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, chaired a meeting with senior management from J M Baxi Group, headed by Mr Dhruv Kotak.
 
The discussion included establishing an industrial park in Tuticorin area, increasing the draft of the port in the inner harbour area, provision of green tugs and electric trucks, increasing coastal container service between Deendayal Port and VOC Port, and mainline container vessel calls.
 
J M Baxi Group operates the Tuticorin International Container Terminal at the port.
