VOC Port operationalises state-of-art dry bulk cargo berth 

V. O. Chidambaranar Port (VOC Port) has intimated that a new berth with 95,000 DWT berthing capacity is operational with immediate effect.
 
VOC Port’s JSW Tuticorin Multipurpose Terminal Private Limited (NCB-III) is ready for interim commercial operations, highlighted a communique. 
 
The terminal can discharge dry bulk cargo such as coal, limestone, gypsum, rock phosphate and copper concentrate with two 120-tonne capacity harbour mobile cranes.

* Quay Length: 306 m
 
* Max LOA: 260 m
 
* Beam: 48 m
 
* DWT: 95,000
 
The port is encouraging stakeholders to take advantage of this state-of-the-art facility for efficient bulk cargo operations.
