NGEL, SMPK ink pact to develop Green Hydrogen hub 
 
NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL), the green energy subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, and Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (SMPK) have signed a pact for the development of a Green Hydrogen hub in Kolkata, as per a communique. NTPC is India’s largest power utility having a total installed capacity of over 73 GW. Its wholly owned subsidiary, NGEL, is taking up renewable energy (RE) capacity addition, including projects of Green Hydrogen and energy storage. NTPC Group aims at 60 GW of RE capacity by 2032. 3.2 GW is installed and over 20 GW is in the pipeline.
