Tiger Logistics fuels growth with new projects in Government & PSU business

Tiger Logistics (India) Limited, a leading end-to-end international logistics provider, has strengthened its presence in the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) segment by securing major projects with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and emerging as the frontrunner for a significant air cargo contract with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). These developments reinforce the company’s reputation as a trusted partner for handling critical cargo across diverse government and PSU sectors, backed by its comprehensive service offerings and proven expertise.

New assignment with BHEL

Tiger Logistics’ association with BHEL continues to yield significant projects, handling a wide spectrum of logistics requirements, including Customs Clearance, Warehousing, Transportation, FCL & LCL Export & Import, Air Export & Import, Break Bulk, and Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC).

The company has recently secured significant five ODC projects originating from Italy for BHEL, of which two are en route. Apart from this, one additional air cargo shipment from Argentina has been processed (air-chartered service). These projects underscore Tiger Logistics’ capability to handle complex international logistics challenges and deliver seamless solutions for critical PSU operations.

Emerging as a frontrunner for major HPCL air cargo project

Building on its track record of successful collaborations with HPCL, Tiger Logistics is on the verge of securing a substantial new project from HPCL.  The company has emerged as the L1 bidder for a significant air cargo project with HPCL, estimated to involve a sizeable volume of shipments per month. This achievement reflects Tiger Logistics’ competitive pricing and its demonstrated ability to meet the stringent demands of the oil and gas sector.

Expanding footprint with BEML and other Government & PSU enterprises

Besides BHEL and HPCL, Tiger Logistics forged a strong association with other prominent PSUs in FY25, solidifying its position in the PSU sector. These include a two-year contract with Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), encompassing both air and sea import services, with recent shipments from the Czech Republic to Pune and the UK to Chennai.

Other advancements in FY25 include a two-year empanelment with the Airports Authority of India (AAI). Also, other existing contracts include Bank Note Paper Mill India Private Limited (BNPMIPL), Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Central Electronics Limited (CEL) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).

Mr Harpreet Singh Malhotra, CMD of Tiger Logistics (India) Limited, said, “We are witnessing strong traction in our PSU business, which is a testament to our commitment to providing reliable, efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions tailored to the unique needs of Government/PSU enterprises. Our recent successes in securing new business highlight our growing capabilities across multiple logistics modes and our dedication to supporting the growth and operational efficiency of India’s key public sector organisations”.

“Tiger Logistics is strengthening its revenue base and building its reputation as a trusted partner for high value cargo movements. With smart investments in infrastructure and a strong focus on customised logistics solutions, the company is well-positioned to expand into PSU segments. As Tiger Logistics expands its operations and market presence, it remains fully committed to creating long-term value for shareholders while further reinforcing its leadership position in the logistics industry,” he added.
