VCT handles largest container vessel to ever grace an Indian port on the East Coast

J M Baxi Group’s Visakha Container Terminal (VCT), at Visakhapatnam Port, proudly handled MSC TERESA, the largest container vessel to ever grace an Indian port on the East Coast, in the early hours of May 3, 2024.
 
With an impressive length of 365.50 meters and a beam of 51.2 meters, MSC TERESA brings with it a capacity of 14,604 TEUs, highlighted a communique.
 
The vessel was berthed at the terminal by Capt. T. Ravi Kiran and Capt. R. C. Sarma, port Dock Masters, under the Captainship of Deputy Conservator Mr T. Srinivas.  
 
Team Visakha Container Terminal and MSC also deserve kudos for their exceptional leadership in making this historic moment possible, the communique emphasised.
