Mundra Port berths largest-ever containership to call at an Indian port

It was a monumental moment for Mundra Port on May 26, 2024 as it welcomed the largest containership India has ever seen. 
 
MSC Anna, with a length of 399.98 metres and capacity of 19,200 TEUs, was successfully berthed at Mundra Port! An expected exchange of 12,500 TEUs will take place during its stay, highlighted a communique. 
 
This accomplishment underscores the dedication and hard work of the Mundra Port team, demonstrating their excellence and proving the port’s capability to manage large scale container vessels efficiently, the communique added.
